Day 01 / Arrive Trivandrum - Kovalam
Meeting on arrival at Trivandrum airport and transfer to the beach resort at Kovalam. Rest of the day at leisure by the beach. You have an option of Ayurveda Massage at your hotel if interested. Overnight at hotel.

Trivandrum, the capital of beautiful Kerala lies in the southwest coast of India. The city is officially known as Thiruvananthapuram. The city gets its name from the word, Thiruvananthapuram, meaning the city of Anantha or the abode of the sacred Serpent Anantha on which Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the Hindu trinity, reclines. Trivandrum is a beautiful seaside city built on seven hills. The city of Trivandrum has a prominent history. Trade had started in the place as far back as 190 AD. It was the capital of the erstwhile Travancore state. After independence, it was made the capital of Kerala.

Day 02 / Kovalam
Morning after relaxed breakfast at the hotel proceed for half day tour of Trivandrum city where you will visit - the Padmanabhaswami temple with its gopuram (tower) soaring majestically upwards, is believed to be one of the 108 shrines sacred to the Vaishnavites in India, Observatory, Museum, Art Gallery and the city. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 / Kovalam - Kumarakom
This morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel proceed to reach Jetty to board Deluxe houseboat and sail through famous back waters of Kerala to reach Kumarakom - the backwater country . Lunch and dinner will be serviced on board. Overnight on board the houseboat at Kumarakom.

Day 04 / Kumarakom
Morning after breakfast at the houseboat disembark and check in at one of the beach resort. Rest of the day free to relax by the beach or explore adjoining Vembanad bird sanctuary. If you are adventurous enough, you can indulge in water sports such as Wind Sailing & Water Skiing. You can even take a canoe out into the quiet lakes. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 / Kumarakom - Thekkady
Morning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to Periyar National Park by car. Getting to Periyar is as sublime as the destination itself. A scenic journey past mist capped mountains, spice plantations and open grasslands lined with spectacular water falls & delightful trekking trails form the access to your hide way here. On arrival check into hotel, refresh yourself & be relaxed. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 / Thekkady
Tiger ! Isn't the word exciting & horrifying too ! Today you might have an opportunity to meet the beast. Come! Let's pierce into the Den & go to Periyar Tiger Reserve. Trekking with a local guide familiarizes you to the rare birds, trees & flowers that are come across here. You can even set upon a walk through the plantations filled with the heady fragrance of fresh spice. A boat safari on the Periyar Lake extends a lifetime's chance to spot exotic wildlife in its natural habitat. Like the eccentric bathing habits of the wild elephants that come down to the lake. Day 07 / Thekkady - Cochin
Today morning drive to Cochin, On arrival in "Queen Of The Arabian Sea" check into hotel. Afternoon free to relax. In the evening enjoy Kathakali dance show. Kerala renowned through out the world for its harmonious blending of poetry, music, costumes and gestures to narrate stories from Indian Epics. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 / Cochin
Morning after breakfast at the hotel proceed for a city tour covering: Jewish Synagogue - Built in 1568 the oldest synagogue in the commonwealth stands, adorned by hundreds of exquisite hand - painted Chinese tiles in blue & white. St. Francis Church Originally, built out of wood in 1503 and thus earning fame as the oldest European church in India. Vasco de gama was buried there. Dutch Palace - As you climb its stone steps, you enter a different world of Palanquins and heraldry, jewels and rich murals. Roam about in the cobbled streets. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 / Depart Cochin
Transfer to the airport in time to board flight or train for onward destination.
